CCTV appeal after late-night phone robbery at Earl’s Court station

British Transport Police are appealing for the public’s help after a robbery at Earl’s Court Underground Station, releasing a CCTV image of a woman they would like to identify.

The incident happened shortly after 12.40am on Sunday 21 December. A woman was pursued into the station via the Warren Street entrance by another woman before an altercation took place on the concourse. During the confrontation, the victim was assaulted and pushed, and her phone fell from her bag. The other woman then left the scene with the device.

Investigators believe the woman captured in the CCTV image could hold vital information about what happened and may be able to assist with ongoing inquiries into the robbery.

Members of the public who recognise the woman are urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 26 of 21 December. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
