CCTV image issued following incident on Motherwell to Dalmuir train
Detectives have issued a CCTV image as part of an ongoing investigation into an incident on a ScotRail service, appealing for the public’s help to identify a man they believe could assist with enquiries.
The incident took place at around 6pm on Tuesday 25 November on a train travelling from Motherwell to Dalmuir. Officers say the individual boarded the service at Partick railway station.
The appeal has been made by the British Transport Police, with detectives stating that the man pictured in the CCTV image may hold information relevant to their investigation.
He is described as a black male, believed to be around 30 years old, with a beard and moustache. At the time, he was wearing a black jacket, black trousers, a grey beanie hat and black over-ear headphones.
Officers are urging anyone who recognises the man to come forward. Members of the public can contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 136 of 28 November.
