Man Sought Over Alleged Masturbation Incident on Elizabeth Line train

Police are appealing for help to identify a man in connection with an alleged sexual offence on an Elizabeth Line train.

British Transport Police say officers are investigating an incident in which a man is reported to have masturbated while travelling on a train on Saturday 10 January. Images have now been released as part of efforts to trace a potential witness.

The incident is said to have happened at about 6.45pm on a service travelling between Ealing Broadway and Slough. Investigators say a man was seated on the train with his family when the passenger sitting opposite allegedly began masturbating.

Detectives believe the man shown in the images may have information that could assist the investigation and are urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 468 of 10 January. Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
