Locarno Airport (Flugplatz Locarno), (ICAO: LSZL), mil ICAO code LSMO, also known as Locarno-Magadino Airport, is an airport located near the city of Locarno, Ticino, Switzerland.
It's a mixed Civilan and military platform. Since 1942, the Swiss Air Force use it for basic flight training of military pilots. One paved runway and two grass runway for VFR flight travel to and from the Alps. Locarno is aslo known for intense activities: Helicotpers, gliders, Aerolocarno civil school and skydiving.
