PC Building Simulator: Razer Workshop was developed by Claudiu Kiss in collaboration with The Irregular Corporation, with The Irregular Corporation also serving as the publisher. Released on April 29, 2019, this downloadable content (DLC) was initially available for PC and later expanded to consoles, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The DLC was created in partnership with Razer, a well-known gaming hardware manufacturer, to offer players a branded, immersive workspace that reflects Razer's aesthetic.

The Razer Workshop introduces a modern, high-tech environment characterized by sleek design elements, neon lighting, and Razer-branded equipment. The workspace layout and visual style are inspired by Razer's real-world products, aiming to provide players with an authentic and engaging backdrop for their virtual PC building activities. This collaboration with Razer allowed the DLC to capture the essence of the brand, appealing to fans of high-performance gaming hardware.

In terms of gameplay, the Razer Workshop functions as a cosmetic enhancement. It does not introduce new gameplay mechanics or features but offers players the option to switch to this themed environment in both Career and Free Build modes. The soundtrack remains consistent with the base game, maintaining its ambient and relaxed electronic music, ensuring that the focus remains on the visual experience provided by the new workshop setting.

Promotion for the DLC highlighted its collaboration with Razer and the opportunity for players to build within a Razer-themed environment. The DLC was well-received by the community, with players praising its aesthetic appeal and the quality of the themed environment. While some noted that it was purely cosmetic and did not add new gameplay elements, many appreciated the fresh visual experience it offered, enhancing the immersion for fans of the Razer brand and the PC building simulation genre.
