The Missouri DLC for American Truck Simulator was developed and published by SCS Software. Released in April 2025, it brought the Show-Me State to the long-running trucking simulator, expanding the in-game map eastward. Like the base game, the DLC is available for Windows and integrates seamlessly with other state expansions, allowing drivers to experience a continuous road network across a growing portion of the United States.

This expansion introduced twelve major cities, including St. Louis, Kansas City, Jefferson City, St. Joseph, and Columbia, as well as nine smaller settlements. The varied geography of Missouri is well represented, from the Ozark Highlands and dense forests to the rolling hills, farmland, and the iconic Mississippi River. The state’s layout offers a balance between rural scenic drives and busy urban freight routes, giving players a diverse mix of environments to explore.

In terms of gameplay, Missouri features new industries, cargo types, and delivery destinations. Players can transport goods to unique locations such as the largest underground warehouse complex near Kansas City, agricultural facilities, river ports, and a superstructure factory for vehicle components. Specialised depots, including feed mills, livestock farms, and a dynamite depot, provide distinct challenges, while scenic routes through the Mark Twain National Forest and visits to landmarks like the Gateway Arch and Lake of the Ozarks add to the variety.

Promotion for the DLC included an official cinematic trailer, development blog posts, and social media showcases that highlighted Missouri’s scenic beauty and industrial opportunities. On release, the DLC was generally well received, with praise for its detailed landscapes, new delivery challenges, and faithful representation of the state’s terrain and cities. Some players, however, felt the map was more condensed than other expansions, with fewer large truck stops and certain landmarks omitted, but overall it was regarded as a solid addition to the American Truck Simulator world.
