Planet Zoo: Europe Pack

Planet Zoo: Europe Pack is a downloadable content (DLC) expansion developed and published by Frontier Developments. Released on December 14, 2021, for the PC version of Planet Zoo, this pack introduced five new animals, over 250 new scenery pieces, and a new timed scenario set in a picturesque alpine region. The Europe Pack was later included in the Planet Zoo: Console Edition, released on March 26, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, bringing the content to console players for the first time.

The Europe Pack adds five new species to the game: the Alpine ibex, Eurasian lynx, European fallow deer, European badger, and fire salamander. Each species comes with unique habitat and social needs, challenging players to design suitable environments that mimic the diverse ecosystems of Europe. In addition to the new animals, the pack includes over 250 new scenery pieces inspired by European architecture and landscapes, such as alpine bridges, terracotta roofs, and Mediterranean-style foliage. The new timed scenario, "Alpine Escape," tasks players with transforming a struggling zoo located in the foothills of the Alps into a thriving and sustainable attraction, focusing on conservation efforts and efficient zoo management practices.
