Planet Zoo: Oceania Pack

Planet Zoo: Oceania Pack is a downloadable content (DLC) expansion developed and published by Frontier Developments. Released on September 19, 2023, for the PC version of Planet Zoo, this pack introduced five new animals native to the Oceania region: the North Island brown kiwi, Tasmanian devil, little penguin, quokka, and spectacled flying fox. The expansion also featured a new timed scenario set on a New Zealand island, where players are tasked with establishing a wildlife sanctuary for endangered species. The Oceania Pack was later included in the Planet Zoo: Oceania & Eurasia Bundle, released on March 26, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, bringing the content to console players for the first time.

The Oceania Pack was inspired by the diverse ecosystems of Oceania, aiming to bring attention to these unique habitats and the species that inhabit them. The addition of these animals allowed players to create more varied and realistic environments within their zoos. The pack also introduced over 200 new scenery pieces inspired by Polynesian traditions, including thatched roofs, tiki decorations, and tropical foliage, enabling players to design immersive island-themed exhibits.
