The Avanti West Coast BR Class 805 Evero BMU DLC for Train Sim World 6 was developed by All Aboard Studios in partnership with Dovetail Games and published by Dovetail Games. It was released in 2026 as an official add-on for Train Sim World 6, introducing one of the newest trains to enter service on the British rail network. The DLC is designed to work with existing West Coast Main Line content in the simulator and represents Avanti West Coast’s modern fleet as it appears in contemporary operation.

The DLC adds the BR Class 805 Evero bi-mode multiple unit, allowing players to experience both electric and diesel operation depending on route requirements. It features a fully interactive driving cab, realistic traction and braking behaviour, detailed passenger interiors and modern onboard systems such as digital displays and announcements. Scenarios and timetable services are included to showcase the train in regular Avanti West Coast duties, reflecting current long-distance operations on electrified and non-electrified sections of the network.

Promotion for the Class 805 Evero DLC followed the established Train Sim World approach, with advance announcements through official channels and inclusion in roadmap updates outlining upcoming content. The developers also demonstrated the train ahead of release through preview streams and community posts, highlighting its bi-mode functionality and modern design. This marketing was aimed squarely at the existing Train Sim World audience, particularly players interested in present-day British railway operations.

As the DLC was released only recently, there has been limited time for a large number of Steam user reviews to accumulate. Early feedback has therefore been drawn mainly from community forums and discussion spaces, where reception has been broadly positive. Players have praised the visual detail and authenticity of the Evero unit, as well as the added variety it brings to West Coast Main Line services, with discussion continuing as more users spend time driving the new train.
