All lines shut between Waterloo and Clapham Junction after emergency incident
All rail lines between London Waterloo railway station and Clapham Junction railway station have been closed following an ongoing emergency incident.
Response teams are currently on site, with power to the tracks switched off to allow emergency services to safely access the railway. As a result, trains are being cancelled, delayed by up to 90 minutes or revised, with major disruption expected until at least 15:00.
South Western Railway has warned that services across the network will be significantly affected while the situation is dealt with. At present, there is no confirmed time for when the lines will reopen.
To help passengers continue their journeys, ticket acceptance has been put in place across a range of alternative transport options, including London bus services, the London Underground and other main line rail operators.
Passengers are being urged to check before travelling, as disruption may change throughout the day and alternative arrangements could be withdrawn at short notice.
