Brewbox Opens at Corby Station as EMR Welcomes Independent Coffee Kiosk
East Midlands Railway has confirmed that Brewbox, an independent coffee kiosk at Corby railway station, is now open to passengers.
The kiosk, based at the station and aimed at customers looking for something quick before or after a journey, has already received a positive response since launching.
Brewbox serves barista-style coffee made with beans from local roaster Carrara Coffee Roasters. Its offer also includes freshly prepared pastries, speciality drinks and grab-and-go snacks, with the selection changing over time.
EMR, which is operated by Transport UK, said commuters and leisure passengers using Corby station have been making use of the kiosk as part of their journey, whether travelling in the morning or returning later in the day.
Mark Cox, Brewbox co-owner, said:
“From day one, the response has been fantastic. Whether it’s a quick flat white before the morning commute or a cappuccino ahead of a weekend trip, customers have really embraced what we’re offering. We set out to create a friendly, consistent coffee experience at the station, and it’s been brilliant to see that resonate so well with people already.”
East Midlands Railway has welcomed the arrival of the independent business at Corby, pointing to the number of passengers using the station each year.
Simon Pready, Commercial Director at East Midlands Railway, said:
“It is great to see an independent business like Brewbox opening at Corby station and to hear that customers are already loving their coffee and snacks. With significant passenger numbers using Corby each year, we hope Brewbox goes from strength to strength.”
