Man Punched To Ground At West Ealing Station After Challenging Tailgater

British Transport Police officers have issued an appeal after a man was assaulted at West Ealing station.

The incident happened at around 7.45pm on Thursday 21 May, as the victim was using his card to leave the station.

Police said the victim realised another man was tailgating him through the exit and turned around to speak to him.

The man then punched the victim in the head, causing him to fall to the ground.

Officers have released an image of a man they want to identify in connection with the incident. They believe he may have information that could assist their investigation.

Anyone who recognises the man is being asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 620 of 21 May.

Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
