Police release CCTV following sexual assault on Rhyl–Manchester train
Detectives investigating a sexual assault on a train from Rhyl to Manchester Airport have released CCTV images in connection with the incident.
The assault occurred at around 1.45pm on Saturday 11 October. Police say a man stared at a woman during the journey and then approached her as she attempted to leave the train at Manchester Piccadilly, before committing a sexual assault.
The suspect reportedly left the train at Manchester Oxford Road. Authorities believe the individual captured in the CCTV images may have information that could assist with the investigation.
Police are urging anyone who recognises the man or has relevant information to come forward.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2500126159. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
