Putney Bridge Sexual Assault Appeal After Woman Targeted On District Line

British Transport Police have released images of a man they want to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted on a train in South West London.

The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Wednesday 29 April, when the victim was travelling on a District Line train.

Police said a man sexually assaulted her as he left the train at Putney Bridge Underground station.

Officers investigating the incident believe the man shown in the released images may have information that could help with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises him is being asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 645 of 29 April.

Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
