Waterloo Rail Chaos After Person Hit By Train Near Clapham Junction

Rail services have been brought to a standstill between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction after a person was hit by a train.

Emergency services are currently dealing with the incident, with all lines between the two stations closed. Trains through the area may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 60 minutes.

The closure is causing major disruption across the wider network, with no trains currently able to run through the affected section. Services in the area are at a standstill and passengers should expect significant delays and cancellations.

Mainline trains are not currently calling at stations between Clapham Junction and London Waterloo. Passengers have been advised to use local alternatives where possible, or speak to station staff for help with completing their journey.

Disruption is expected to continue until at least 21:30.
