TPE Partners with ivee to Support People Returning to Work

TransPennine Express (TPE) has partnered with ivee, the recruitment platform designed for people returning to work after a career break. Founded by sisters Amelia and Lydia Miller, ivee vets employers to ensure all advertised jobs are flexible, supportive, and inclusive, connecting skilled candidates with forward-thinking businesses. TPE’s flexible approach has helped attract more women into the industry, with 22% of its engineering team now female, above the UK average of 16.5%. The operator continues to welcome people from diverse backgrounds, including ex-military personnel, teachers, and career changers, offering roles suited to different lifestyles and ambitions. Flexible working options, bank holidays that can be taken at different times, and job shares in frontline roles further support employees’ needs.
