Trains suspended at Oxshott after nearby property fire

All platforms at Oxshott station have been closed following a fire on property close to the railway.

As a result of the incident, trains are currently unable to call at Oxshott station and services may be cancelled or revised at short notice. The disruption is expected to continue until at least 19:00.

A response team is en route to the scene, and the line will remain closed until the situation has been resolved and it is safe for trains to calling at the station.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services until further notice:

  • Falcon Buses 479 between Guildford - Clandon - Horsley - Effingham Village - Bookham - Leatherhead - Ashtead - Epsom

  • Falcon Buses 715 between Guildford - Cobham - Esher - Hinchley Wood - Thames Ditton - Surbiton - Kingston

  • White Bus 462 and 463 between Guildford - Clandon - Woking

All platforms at Oxshott station have now reopened and normal service has resumed.
