Appeal after woman sexually assaulted on train between Bond Street and Paddington

Detectives are appealing for help to identify a man following a reported sexual assault on an Elizabeth Line service in London.

British Transport Police said the incident took place on a train travelling from Bond Street to Paddington. Investigators believe the assault occurred at around 7.10pm on Friday 28 November, after a man boarded the service and approached a woman who was seated in the carriage.

Officers have released images of a man they wish to trace, saying they believe he may have information that could prove significant to the investigation. The force has asked anyone who recognises him, or who may have witnessed the incident, to come forward.

Police are urging members of the public to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 623 of 30 November. Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
