Officers Seek Witnesses to Sexual Harassment Incident on Piccadilly Line
Police are urging victims and witnesses to come forward following a reported sexual harassment incident on the London Underground involving a man travelling from Holborn to King’s Cross.
The incident took place at around 12.45pm on Tuesday, 13 January 2026. Officers say a man was seen smoking on the platform at Holborn Underground station before approaching a woman while exposing his underwear.
The man then boarded a Piccadilly Line service bound for King’s Cross. While on the train, he is reported to have approached a second woman and directed sexual remarks towards her.
When the woman exited the train at King’s Cross Underground station, the man followed her onto the platform before leaving the station shortly afterwards.
British Transport Police are seeking to identify and speak with both women involved, as well as any passengers or members of the public who may have witnessed the behaviour on the platform or onboard the train.
