How To Get To The Arsenal Trophy Parade, Watch It Live Here
Arsenal supporters heading to today’s trophy parade in north London are being urged to plan their journeys carefully, with huge crowds expected, roads closed across Islington and several public transport restrictions in place. The parade takes place on Sunday 31 May 2026 and is due to start at 2pm, with fans advised to allow extra time and avoid driving anywhere near the route.
Fans who cannot make it to north London, or who want to avoid the expected crowds and transport disruption, can watch the Arsenal trophy parade live further up this page. A live stream will be available here, giving supporters another way to follow the celebrations without travelling to the route in person.
The parade will take place through Islington, with the route including Holloway Road, Seven Sisters Road, Blackstock Road, Mountgrove Road, Green Lanes, Petherton Road, Beresford Road, Newington Green Road, Essex Road, Upper Street and Holloway Road. Large crowds are expected along the route, and supporters should choose a viewing point in advance rather than trying to move around the area once the parade is under way.
Fans should not assume that travelling directly to the Emirates Stadium will be the best option. The stadium, Drayton Park and surrounding streets will not be normal public gathering points, and supporters have been advised not to gather around the stadium area because they may not see the parade from those locations. The safest option is to pick a point on the published route and travel there early.
The key public transport advice from TfL is to use Finsbury Park where possible. Finsbury Park will be the nearest station operating with both entry and exit, and it is also the recommended station for supporters who need step-free access. Even so, fans should expect queues, particularly after the parade, and should follow instructions from station staff and stewards on the day.
Highbury & Islington will be heavily restricted. Victoria line trains will not stop there from around two hours before the parade, while London Overground services will be interchange and exit only. The station will also not be step-free on the day. Canonbury will operate as exit only, while Holloway Road Underground station will be closed.
Drayton Park and Essex Road National Rail stations will also be closed for the day, so supporters should not plan journeys around either station. Caledonian Road is expected to remain open, but TfL says it may operate as exit only or trains may not stop there if the station becomes overcrowded.
The Victoria and Piccadilly lines are expected to be particularly busy, with northbound services busiest between 10am and 2pm and southbound services busiest between 2.30pm and 6.30pm. Mildmay and Windrush London Overground services are also expected to be very busy because of the parade.
There is also a specific warning for the Windrush line. A shortage of train drivers means a reduced service is in operation, with services cancelled or revised. The affected routes include Highbury & Islington to New Cross Gate, Crystal Palace and West Croydon, as well as Dalston Junction to New Cross and Clapham Junction. Disruption is expected until the end of the day, and any services that do run are likely to be very busy because of the Arsenal parade.
Fans travelling from south or east London on the Windrush line should therefore be especially careful not to rely on tight connections. With a reduced service already in place, and Highbury & Islington and Canonbury subject to crowd management restrictions, supporters may need to consider alternative routes via the Tube, buses where available, or nearby stations such as Dalston Kingsland, Dalston Junction, King’s Cross St Pancras, Angel, Archway, Manor House or Finsbury Park depending on where they are travelling from.
TfL is also advising supporters to consider stations slightly further from the parade route. Manor House, Archway, Angel and King’s Cross St Pancras may be better options for some fans, even if they involve a longer walk. In some cases, walking from a less crowded station may be quicker than queueing at one of the stations closest to the parade.
Bus travel around Islington will also be heavily affected. Around 33 bus routes are expected to be diverted or terminate early, with some services starting or finishing at locations such as King’s Cross, Old Street or Archway. Road closures are due to be in place between 4am and 8pm, although they may remain in place later if needed for safety.
The safest advice for supporters is to avoid driving, avoid relying on stations immediately beside the Emirates Stadium, and check TfL and National Rail updates before travelling. Finsbury Park is likely to be the most practical main arrival point for many fans, but services will be very busy and crowd control measures are expected across the area.
For anyone still deciding where to watch from, the best approach is to choose a point on the confirmed route, travel early and have a backup station in mind. For those who cannot travel, or who decide the disruption is not worth the risk, the live stream further up this page offers another way to watch the Arsenal trophy parade. With road closures, bus diversions, station restrictions and a reduced Windrush line service, this will not be a normal Sunday journey in north London.
