Woman Sexually Assaulted at Walthamstow Central Station

Detectives have released an image following a reported sexual assault at Walthamstow Central station.

The incident happened shortly after 3pm on Wednesday 29 April on the stairs of the Overground station.

According to investigators, a man sexually assaulted a woman before leaving the area.

British Transport Police officers believe the individual shown in the released image may be able to assist with enquiries and are appealing for the public’s help in identifying him.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 686 of 29 April. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
