Mildmay Line Shut After Fire Near Railway Between Richmond And Willesden Junction

Mildmay line services are being disrupted after a fire at a property close to the railway forced all lines to close between Richmond / Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction.

The fire is affecting trains on the route, with services currently unable to run through the affected section.

An earlier loss of power to the overhead electric wires is also adding to the disruption, creating further problems for trains using the line.

As a result, Mildmay line services may be cancelled while the incidents are dealt with.

Ticket acceptance has been put in place on London Buses at no extra cost, allowing passengers to use any reasonable route to complete their journeys.

Disruption is expected to continue until 10:30.
