Railway Worker Assaulted at Thornaby Station

Detectives have released an image following an assault on a member of railway staff at Thornaby railway station.

The incident happened at around 11.20pm on Saturday 11 April when a man allegedly assaulted a railway employee at the station.

British Transport Police officers believe the individual shown in the released image may be able to assist with enquiries and are appealing to the public for help identifying him.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 886 of 11 April. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
